Learn the foundations of handbuilding in a calm, supportive studio environment. This beginner-friendly 8-week class introduces pinch pots, coil building, slab building, surface decoration, glazing, and independent projects, with a new demonstration each week and time to explore clay at your own pace.

Classes are limited to 8 students to ensure everyone has access to equipment, space to work, and individual guidance from the instructor.

Materials and firing
Your first 5kg of clay is included in the class price. Additional clay can be purchased in 5 kg blocks for $20.00. Most students use 1–3 blocks per session. All glazes and firings are included in the registration fee.

Make-up classes and cancellations
Make-up classes are possible only during the final week for glazing in another class, and only if space is available. All classes are non-refundable.
